We appreciate so much the work being done by educators around the world to engage students in better understanding science.
We’ve found that most students respond well to videos, and we’d like to offer a couple that we think might help students grasp the concepts of chromatography while providing some entertainment.
We encourage all educators to use and share these if they find them useful.
We are very proud to announce the launch of our new BandIT Sample Applicator, a semi-automatic device used to apply a uniform streak or band of sample solution to a Thin Layer Chromatography Plate.
Our Technical Director, Ned Dugan, says this device will provide users with a level of precision that couldn’t be reached by traditional manual application.
And our Process Engineer, Richard Jenkins, said this device represents a leap forward in both accuracy and ease of use.

Researchers at the University of Kansas have published a paper advocating the use of chromatography to 
answer the question of whether the planet Mars was home to any carbon-based life forms.

This was our third year attending Arablab, and for the third time we had the privilege of talking with chemists, business leaders, and government officials from around the world about chromatography.
